To Wiki or Not Wiki — That is the Pharma Question

When a physician, patient, or caregiver Googles any drug, within the first few results they’ll invariably get the government-sanctioned NIH article and the search engine ranked Wikipedia article. The popularity and power of Wikipedia begs the question: Should pharma edit and even write crowdsourced articles for their own drugs?

A @pharmaguy podcast recently addressed this issue, featuring Bertalan Mesko, MD, founder and managing director of Webicinia.com, Silja Chouquet, owner and CEO of whydot GmbH, and our own Spitz (@SpitzStrategy). Listen in to get a good overview of the open letter that spurred the conversation, and discover how these questions lie at the very heart of challenges facing digital health today.
