On Tuesday, February 8, 2011, Luminary Labs produced an open invitation event during Social Media Week in New York.  The event, entitled HEALTH | TECH | FOOD, was attended by more than 120 people who came ready to listen, discuss – and most importantly – ideate around ways that social technology can help improve the health of New Yorkers. Jason Brandt and I helped to lead several break out sessions during the event, which encouraged small groups to brainstorm solutions to problem statements.  At the end of the event, all groups voted on their favorite concept and the winners were announced.
