Leigh Householder Interview from eDTC Revolutions: Transcending the “Average” in Healthcare via Digital Technology

Spitz from @PixelsandPills interviews Leigh Householder, Managing Director of GSW IQ Labs at the eDTC Revolutions Conference in Washington, DC, September 13-14, 2012.

Leigh explains how the whole notion of “average” in communications is antiquated and creates an inaccurate reflection of our diverse healthcare target audiences. She goes on to reveal how digital tech is ideal for better understanding and defining audience segments, and then engaging them with dynamic, personalized content best suited for engendering the kind of behavioral change that can result in improved patient outcomes. Speculating about the near-term future, Leigh believes digital will play an ever-increasing role in how we connect with our audiences, and how they speak right back to us. Finally, she corrects Spitz’s mispronunciation of her name (Lee-UH), and beats him up.
