SMW NYC is on .. and They've Got the Podium to Prove It!

If you’re in New York City this afternoon, you’ve got a chance to make your voice heard.

As part of Social Media Week, friend of the blog Marc Monseau will be leading a unique event,

“Let’s Crowdsource! FDA Social Media Guidelines & Sunshine Act Comments” will be an interactive brainstorming session that will allow you and your peers to craft a series of comments to the FDA on these two key legislative areas.

It’s sure to be a lively discussion and Monseau hopes that the event will allow many of those who were not able to present to the FDA hearings on Social Media back in 2009 to finally have their say.

If you’re one of those folks or you just want to join the conversation, swing by the Health and Wellness Hub at Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness (located at 375 Hudson Street) from 4:30-6:00 this afternoon.

Hope to see you there!

  1. I hope the Open access social media guide for pharma will be mentioned. http://www.webicina.com/solutions/pharmaSM/

  2. Enjoyed the session, thanks for leading the working group. Some creative ideas came from the industry-side of the equation, which FDA will hopefully take into consideration. However it was also clear that a great divide still exists between what industry would like (albeit it was a “wish list” after all) and what the Agency needs from a regulatory standpoint.
